The following is my list of the characteristics of a good leader:
1.Vision
Most good leaders
have great vision. They know where they want to go and they know how
to motivate people to believe in this same vision they have for their
community, country and their lives. They view things as what they could
be and not what they are.
2. Wise
Being a good
leader usually means that they have to make critical calls at assorted
points in their organization. Having the knowledge to make the correct
call is crucial in making sure the organization is successful. Good
leaders are strategic, wise and perceptive.
3. Passionate
Good
leaders are very passionate people. They're intensely obsessed in
whatever they are focused on. It could be business, sports or a hobby,
these individuals are intensely focused. They operate with such a high
level of passion that they get consumed in it. They take action!
4. Compassion
Good
leaders have compassion for their supporters or employees. They have
great coaching and development skills. While these leaders have goals to
accomplish, they consistently care for the individuals that support
them. They're not selfish individuals only thinking about their own
wants and needs. Most have a heart for the people that follow them.
5. Charismatic
Most
good leaders are captivating. They're charming individuals and they
tend to draw people in with their personalities. It could be in the way
they talk, the way they carry themselves. They are excellent a
building relationships and demanding performance from their peers.
These individuals have an X-factor that you are drawn to.
6. Great Communicators
Good
leaders are usually great orators and persuaders. They're very
comfortable with public speaking and are very inspiring people. It
isn't surprising that they can develop a good following with this
communication ability.
7. Persistent
Good leaders
are determined in attaining their goals. They know that reaching their
destination can be filled with problems. Notwithstanding, they see that
the advantages of attaining their goals is larger than that of the
problems that occurred. This makes them intensely persistent
individuals.
8. Integrity
Good leaders mean what
they say. They have integrity. They're individuals who keep their
guarantees and they do not play the old political games that plenty of
others do. People find them reliable and as such are dedicated to them.
9. Daring
They are bold. Winston Churchill
states that courage is the virtue on which all others virtue rest on.
Good leaders are bold enough to chase after their dreams. Although the
fears are real, a daring leader pursues them regardless of the fears
that exist.
10. Disciplined
Most good leaders are
very controlled in the pursuit of their goals. Where most individuals
would be simply distracted or dejected, good leaders discipline their
minds to keep focused and steady regardless of the situation.
There you have it, 10 characteristics of good leadership.
Not all good leaders carry every single trait. Also, you may feel you
are strong in some areas and lacking in others. But just remember, it
isn't about being perfect, but understanding where you are lacking.
Make an effort to build on these characteristics of good leadership in
yourself.

Right Business Opportunity For A Better Life
One of the best kep secrets to being a successful entrepreneur is to
lead a healthy lifestyle. There are so many positive aspects to being
healthy:
This is why companies spend millions and billions of dollars on the health of their employees to stop health insurance costs, lack of performance, and overall employee satisfaction.
Time Management
What in your life is detriment to your goals and dreams? What is actually helping you to get there? Sometimes the most detrimental things aren’t always the most malicious actions. They can be things that seem harmless or even things we enjoy dearly.
One of the most common time killers is television. An American watches on average 4 hours of day or 28 hours a week. That is over 1,400 hours a year and over 100,000 hours in a lifetime.
That is a lot of time just staring at a box.
Now I agree we can learn a lot from television, but the History channel never gets the highest ratings. Most people use those hours to get away and almost go into a trance.
Think of what you can do with those 4 hours a day of TV when you only need about an hour for exercise or an hour focused on an Internet Business.
Now most of you I know have terribly busy lives. I feel for you because you have so many priorities that you need to attend to like putting food on the table and taking care of your family. Often there are chores or responsibilities you have consistently that you feel obligated to do like dishes, mowing the lawn, or walking the dog. Let me introduce you to a concept that I love: delegation.
Delegating
Find other people that can do this. Often you can pay people very cheap money and have them do it for you. In a rough economy there are plenty of people looking for work for cheap. Famous people don’t spend much time mowing lawns or doing the laundry. They became successful because they spent a lot of time building several very specific skills. You just have to do the same.
- Longer edurance: Eating healthy, avoiding sugar, and exercising helps to prevent your blood sugar levels from spiking, which causes that mid-day crash we are all too familiar with. More energy means a better ability to work.
- Focus: Your mind and body are very much intertwined. Proper eating and fitness can help in two ways. It prevents a lot of health problems that can distract from work and second, it can help your attention span, chemical balance, and numerous other physiological aspects.
- Confidence: It is obvious that looking good impacts not only your confidence, but other people’s confidence in you. We look to celebrities, athletes, models, and other that exemplify beatuy which also connects to success. No matter how vain that can be, it is true. It impacts getting a job, hiring successful people, getting raises and promotions in the start-up/corporate world.
- Long-term health: So many people work hard on their business only to end up finding success in their 50’s or 60’s, but are a step away from a heart attack, cancer, diabetes, or other diseases. There is no point to gain financial success only to not have a body to celebrate your success with.
This is why companies spend millions and billions of dollars on the health of their employees to stop health insurance costs, lack of performance, and overall employee satisfaction.
- Health programs dropped absenteeism by 15% at Johnson & Johnson.
- The annual turnover rate for wellness program participants of the Canada Life Assurance company of Toronto was 1.8 % , compared to the company wide average of 18 % according to the American Journal of Health Promotion.
- A NASA study reported a 12.5 % increase in productivity in their fitness program participants versus non participants along with an increase in morale according to The Association for Fitness in Business.
- There are over 300 other documented examples in mostly US companies showing these types of positive results with benefits outweighing costs 3-1 in HR Magazine.
Time Management
- One of the most important things you can do is to prioritize your day. Lack of daily planning leads to a lot of wasted time.
- Start putting the important or harder items toward the start of the day. If you are having trouble getting in cardio or pressing items for your business like sales calls or link building, then get it done right when you wake up in the morning.
- Start your day early. Most of the successful people I know get up early. Set a goal to get up at 6am if you can. If you work night shifts, then set an equivalent time to get up “early” for you.
- Make sure that you are still getting at least 6 and preferably 8 hours of sleep a day. Enough sleep makes your day exponentially more effective.
- Start your day with exercise. Not only does it provide a better physical health, but it actually creates more time. You are less sleepy, more motivated, and more alert to what is going on around you.
What in your life is detriment to your goals and dreams? What is actually helping you to get there? Sometimes the most detrimental things aren’t always the most malicious actions. They can be things that seem harmless or even things we enjoy dearly.

Healthy Living
The amount and type of food you eat has a major influence on your health. There is good evidence that eating a healthy diet can reduce your risk
of obesity and illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease, stroke,
osteoporosis and some types of cancer.
You need to eat a range of foods to get all of the nutrients and fibre your body needs. The five main food groups are:

INFORMATION
What is Information?
Information is facts or details about somebody or something.
Often information is viewed as a type of input to an organism or system. Inputs are of two kinds. Some inputs are important to the function of the organism (for example, food) or system (energy) by themselves.
Some information is important because of association with other information but eventually there must be a connection to a causal input. In practice, information is usually carried by weak stimuli that must be detected by specialized sensory systems and amplified by energy inputs before they can be functional to the organism or system. For example, light is often a causal input to plants but provides information to animals. The colored light reflected from a flower is too weak to do much photosynthetic work but the visual system of the bee detects it and the bee's nervous system uses the information to guide the bee to the flower, where the bee often finds nectar or pollen, which are causal inputs, serving a nutritional function.
If, however, the premise of "influence" implies that information has been perceived by a conscious mind and also interpreted by it, the specific context associated with this interpretation may cause the transformation of the information into knowledge.

1. something that actually exists; reality; truth: Your fears have no basis in fact.
.
2. something known to exist or to have happened: Space travel is now a fact..
3. a truth known by actual experience or observation; something known to be true: Scientists gather facts about plant growth..
4. something said to be true or supposed to have happened: The facts given by the witness are highly questionable.

HOW TO SET GOALS
- You have to decide what you want first of all. The problem with so many people is that they do not know what they really want. In other words they are not at all clear about what they want in life. Setting your goals, needs you to make a decision about that which you want, and determine when you want to have achieved that thing. In other words you must put a deadline to what you currently want. Get clear about what you want.
- Have a good plan of attack. Ask yourself:
- What do I know about this?
- What information do I have?
- What information do I need? Where can I get it?
- What skills do I need to master?
- What other resources should I use?
- Is this the best way to do it, or is there some other way?
- Start small, but keep walking. Goals don’t necessarily have to be big ones. When you set your goal too high, you might find it too overwhelming and time consuming and just give up, or make another one, just as big. It’s akin to quitting cold turkey – there are setbacks.
Set goals in small increments, complete with time, dates, amount, some details. If you tell yourself, “I’m going to be an opera singer” and then sit around and wait for it to suddenly happen, you could be waiting all your life. Start with singing lessons for a month, and then a year and expose yourself to opera music. You can then progress to more singing lessons year after year. By breaking down your goals in smaller, workable units, you are more likely to make them come true. Remember, even the great ones had to start somewhere.
Be positive when stating your goals. Instead of saying, “I am not going to miss my exercise routine today,” say “I’m really busy, so I’ll probably just make time for 20 minutes on the treadmill.” Stating your goal positively will help you view it as a good thing to do, and not as a byproduct of what you had to avoid.
Spread out your goals. So maybe we do have certain general goals that apply to all areas of our lives like, “I want to be successful” or “I want to be rich” but those would seem as far away as the Niagara Falls viewed from Hawaii. Instead, try making tiny goals for different aspects of your life, one or two for each, even more if you like. These areas are: family and home, career, social, physical, mental and spiritual. If you say, “I want to be a successful dad,” then try to make goals towards the development of your family life while still keeping an eye out for ways to improve your career and other areas of your life.
Don’t underestimate yourself. It’s tempting to sometimes just slack off, or let yourself off too easy. If you want to write the definitive American novel, then don’t try to churn out just a page or two a day when you know you are more than capable of writing five pages, even ten. The fear of failure is sometimes to blame for setting our goals too low. How often have we said, “I don’t really want to volunteer for that project ‘cause I might screw it up. And then my colleagues will make fun of me.”
Remember that some fears are unfounded. How do you know you’ll actually ruin it? And how do you know for sure your coworkers will laugh at your effort? If you try to reason with your fears, more often than not, you’ll realize that there really is no reason for you to be reluctant and that in fact, you can do it.
Write it down. Putting your- Affirm it. Affirmation is really more than writing down, “I am going to buy my $750,000 home by Christmas” twenty times. It’s actually being conscious not only of your thought processes, but also of your acts during the day.
If you’re trying to save money and then you pass by a shop window where a great pair of shoes seems to have your name on it, think, “If I buy those shoes, would I be making my goal of saving easier? Will I be able to meet my deadline if I splurge just this once? A few months from now if I don’t meet my deadline because I didn't save enough, would I feel good about it?”
Stop procrastinating. So you’ve heard this before. Big deal. Well, it is. Time wastage is one of the greatest crimes in history. If Henry Ford put off studying and tinkering with machines for another time, someone else would have improved on automobiles and he wouldn't have gone down in history as a pioneer. If you’re used to procrastination, being bullheaded about a goal can seem scary at first. Try to set a schedule and then reward yourself each time you meet it.
Start inculcating the habit of liking something. The most difficult thing is to LIKE something useful. For example we may like that particular model, star, lazing around with friends, to impress the opposite sex etc...but do they give us any long term returns? They just look jazzy for a small period of time and again life is as usual, that which has no achievement. .Our mind generally rejects any conscious attempt to focus on any worthwhile goal. Some really lucky souls subconsciously liked these worthwhile goals and made it big. Many of us focus subconsciously on these petty things such as entertainment, celebrities etc...and when time comes for focusing on big ones we back out because we have an already loaded negative image of that goal. It is simply a misinterpreted relativity. No reason to feel worthless before a big goal just because we have been LIKING petty goals. You need to think big, when you are setting goals, think great thoughts. You must also crystallize your thinking, make it clear to you first, then write it down.
